1-26-26    THOUGHTS

We could preach Jesus from the words below!  These are powerfully packed Spirit Words.
From Christ’s eternal nature, to our growth in salvation, these are “WORDS OF LIFE”!  The last words speak of our having TASTED the kindness of the Lord.  Tasted is an experience word!  We know the kindness of God because we have LIVED IT in FAITH!  With a “panting longing” we are to taste God’s Spirit Words with a powerful intensity!

1Pet 1:20-2:3     For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you  21  who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.  22  Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart,  23  for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.  24  For, "ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS, AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE GRASS WITHERS, AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF, 25  BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER." And this is the word which was preached to you.
1Pet 2:1-3  Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, 2  like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,  3  if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

Our Prayer:
Father, we praise You and Thank You and lift up your Holy name.  Father God, may we grow in our abiding relationship to You.  Help us to absorb deeply and continually the words above and in all of Your words.  In the name of  our Lord... Amen.
